Riu Tequila All Inclusive is located just off the beach, within the
Playacar complex, and approximately 35 miles from Cancun International
Airport. This location is also half a mile from Playacar Golf Course, two
miles from downtown Playa del Carmen and the ferry to Cozumel, four miles
from Xcaret Park, 34 miles from Xel-Ha Park, and 40 miles from Tulum. This
resort it shares exchange facilities so one can also enjoy the five golden
Resorts facilities as well.
The atmosphere is enthralling! Enter a lobby adorned by grand pillars,
arches, iron lanterns, ceilings of painted swirls, and mosaics with
suspended fans reminiscent of the classic film, "Casablanca." The resort's
very own trolley sweeps guests through landscaped gardens, past a raised
gazebo bar, arriving at the private Riu Beach Club. Great-carved doors
open to the Jalisco Restaurant, bedecked in early Mexican décor with an
extensive international buffet. Or enjoy informal dining at the Lupita
Restaurant (reservations required). Tropical greenery and boulder rock
landscaping encase a gorgeous swimming pool, and the La Pinata Disco
attracts the dancing crowd from all of the Riu hotels. Great choice for

Resort amenities include the two pools (with an artificial beach), two
tennis courts, nightclub, three bars, five restaurants, and children's
pool and playground. The beach is 800 meters away, accessed by a garden

The all-inclusive plan covers meals, drinks, dining privileges at partner
resorts, activities, gratuities, one complimentary scuba-diving lesson,
and use of both land and water sports equipment. Scuba-diving
certification, snorkeling and scuba-diving excursions, parasailing, use of
wave runners and banana boats, airport transfers, transfers between
partner resorts, and spa and beauty treatments are available at an extra
fee.
All rooms feature private terraces or balconies, safes, air-conditioning
and ceiling fans, telephones, satellite TV, minibars, and liquor

Great carved doors open to the main restaurant, Jalisco, in early Mexican
style with international buffets. The informal Lupita Restaurant offers
