With Mayan ruins nearby, the magnificent beach just minutes away and a championship golf course surrounding the hotel. The hotel Riu Lupita is the perfect place to have a vacation. The 18 hole golf course was designed by Von Hagge Associates and carved right out of the rain forest. Playa del Carmen's bright, white sand beaches are perfect for water sports. Located just 2,500 feet from the beach, the hotel offers continuous transportation there and back.

On the lower end of the Riu hotel scale, the Riu Lupita is still a good hotel as long as you understand what you are getting. This hotel is not on the beach, is smaller and does not have as many facilities as the other RIU hotels in the area. However, the service, food and rooms are still up to par with the other Riu resorts. The package price on this resort is often very attractive.
